Monroechamber is seeking a Machine Operator II in Truesdale, MO to ensure efficient operation of production machinery and maintain safety, quality, and cost controls.

The role requires monitoring lines, performing minor maintenance, and adhering to GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards, with a 12-hour night shift from 6:00pm to 6:30am on a rotating 3/4 day schedule. Wage ranges from $17 to $20.50 per hour.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Experience in high-speed beverage or food production environments strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot industrial machinery independently.
  • Basic math and measurement skills (metric and imperial systems).
  • Ability to read gauges, thermometers, and production data.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • High level of safety awareness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to maintain consistent product output and quality.
  • Maintain proper production flow by identifying and addressing upstream and downstream issues.
  • Supply raw materials to machines and ensure continuous operation.
  • Perform equipment changeovers according to standard procedures.
  • Interpret production schedules and communicate any delays or issues to leadership.
  • Accurately complete production, downtime, and quality documentation.
  • Follow all Quality Assurance standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including GMP, SQF, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Identify raw material or production defects and take corrective action.
  • Conduct visual and basic quality inspections during production runs.
  • Perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
  • Complete daily and weekly preventive maintenance as required.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational readiness.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with sanitation standards.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
  • Support training and onboarding of new employees when needed.
  • Communicate effectively regarding production performance and equipment issues.
