Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to operate and monitor production machines, perform setup activities, and inspect parts to ensure quality. The role requires attention to safety and adherence to KPI targets while maintaining a steady production rate.

The operator will perform pre-operation checks, monitor equipment, and communicate issues to leads and supervisors to minimize downtime and waste across the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
• Prior experience operating manufacturing, packaging, and process control equipment recommended.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to maintain continuous production at a consistent rate and quality.
• Perform in-process inspections to meet visual acceptance standards.
• Produce parts in the quantity identified by the production schedule.
• Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure proper equipment startup.
• Follow KPI targets for safety, quality, production, efficiency and service.
• Identify defective materials by color, surface blemishes, finish, and dimensions.
