Skybox Packaging in Mansfield, OH is seeking a 3rd shift Experienced Machine Operator. Hours run from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning, with some overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine to produce finished goods.

• Conduct quality checks before and during runs and document results.
• Keep setup/run times at maximum efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
• Notify supervision of any equipment or quality concerns.
• Support cleanup and maintenance in accordance with schedules.

Duties

Responsible for Machine Operation to produce finished goods

Operate in their responsibility to maintain efficiency and quality.

Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow.

Perform equipment adjustments

Mounting of cutting dies, print plates, and any other tooling required for each job.

Perform quality checks prior to each job assigned and during the production run.

Maintain documented checklist for quality checks, ink monitoring, and clean up.

Keep machine setup and run times at maximum efficiency.

Help troubleshoot any quality or machine issues as they occur.

Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained, notifying Maintenance and Supervisors of any issues that occur.

Perform daily and detailed weekly cleanup in accordance with the cleanup checklist.

Identify, and report any damaged tooling that needs repair.

Identify product safety concerns and report them to your supervisor.

Other duties as determined by Plant Superintendent, Shift Supervisor or Shift Lead.

Job Requirements

Experience assisting on multi color flexographic press is preferred.
