Job summary

Lennox AES is seeking a Machine Operator for the Tallassee, AL location to operate and maintain various machinery, ensuring efficient production and quality standards. The role includes setting up equipment, troubleshooting, and contributing to process improvements on a 3rd shift (Mon-Thu 7pm-5:30am).

The position requires prior manufacturing experience, the ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate to heavy objects, and work cohesively in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams or assembly instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
• Monitor machine outputs to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.

• Perform basic, routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate smoothly.

What Drives Success

A Machine Operator for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of various machinery, ensuring efficient production processes and meeting quality standards. This role may involve setting up machines, conducting troubleshooting, contributing to process improvement initiatives , and assisting in other areas .

This will be a 3rd shift position with the following hours: Monday-Thursday 7pm-5:30am

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

• Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
• Able to operate basic machinery (ex. Plasma table, slear, or press brake )
• Able to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting.

Education/Experience

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is $19.50/hour with a shift differential of $2.00. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
