The role involves learning quality procedures, maintaining equipment, training others, and collaborating with the plant team to improve efficiency and meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and apply high school math concepts.
• Follow GMPs and safety rules to ensure product quality and worker safety.
• Ability to learn and comply with quality procedures to prevent defects from leaving the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that convert corrugated board into boxes, including setup, operation and cleanup.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures to maintain a safe production environment.
• Learn and comply with quality procedures to prevent defects from leaving the facility.
• Maximize equipment utilization and optimize setup times to reduce downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas and perform end-of-shift cleaning.
• Collaborate with coworkers and cross-train on other machines as needed.
• Adhere to production schedules and suggest optimizations to meet goals.
