Job summary

Ams Osram is seeking a 3rd Shift Machine Operator to run lamp making equipment in a manufacturing setting with supervision. The role requires handling machine functions, testing equipment, and following instructions to sustain production, quality, PM and SPC standards.

• Preferred experience in a leadership role.
• Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job.
• Must be able to pass vision acuity test.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented, and time oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate lamp making equipment in the manufacturing environment under limited supervision.
• Be proficient at operating and understanding the machine functions and supporting the daily requirements.
• Utilize various forms of testing equipment and follow verbal and written instructions daily.
• Maintain the appropriate production, quality, PM and SPC for the assigned position, and interact with the machines’ information systems.
• Train new associates as required.
