Job summary

AMS Osram is seeking a 2nd shift Mechanic to operate and maintain high-speed lamp making equipment in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, adjust, repair and change over equipment to meet product specifications and production requirements.

You will document production and quality data, use testing equipment, follow prints and instructions, and may assist with lower grade tasks.

• Must be reliable, well organized and detail oriented.
• Operate and maintain high-speed lamp making equipment.
• Follow detailed product specifications and prints.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned pieces of high-speed lamp making equipment.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, repair and change over equipment to meet specifications.
• Utilize testing equipment and follow detailed product prints and instructions.
• Maintain production, quality, SPC, maintenance records and interact with machine information systems.
• May assist in lower grade jobs in the department as needed.
