Job summary

Catania Oils in Ayer, MA is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to support our legacy of 125 years in edible oils. You will operate and change over production line equipment, read work orders, monitor OEE, and perform quality checks.

We value teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement; the role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. English fluency and HACCP/SQF knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience (food industry a plus).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• English fluency (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMPs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and change over production line equipment (filler, capper, labeler, case packer, palletizer, etc.).
• Read work orders and verify supplies (bottles, caps, labels, etc.).
• Monitor production rates and equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Perform quality checks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Keep your area clean and safe throughout the shift.
