Job summary

The Gund Company in Waukesha, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00pm - 7:00am). The role involves operating equipment such as presses and formers to manufacture thermoset composite materials, with several assembly and inspection tasks and strict safety requirements.

Wage is $25-$28.80 per hour, including a 20% shift premium, and benefits are offered. The position is located at 809 Philip Drive, within the Composites department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Ability to operate and adjust machine equipment safely and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Operate presses, forming, extrusion, pultrusion and/or shape machines
• Select and install machine components per specifications
• Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters
• Perform in-process measurements and quality checks
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
• Other duties as assigned by management
