Job summary

The Gund Company is hiring an Entry-Level Machine Operator (Composites) in Noblesville, IN. The role involves operating thermal presses to form molded sheets of composite materials and ensuring quality and efficiency on manufacturing lines.

Starting at $23.00+ per hour with a 15% shift premium, this position runs 2pm–10:30pm, Monday to Friday, in a non-climate-controlled facility. Ideal candidates may have prior manufacturing experience with mixing or batching equipment, and must be able to lift

Qualifications

• Entry-level position in composites manufacturing.
• Ability to operate thermal press equipment.
• Willingness to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Form molded sheets of materials using thermal press machines.
• Manufacture molded glass polyester sheets by laying up material to the desired thickness and spreading resin according to customer orders per instructions on customer work orders.
• Use scale, weighing, and mixing procedures to add resin & filler to prep resin for molding process.
