Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a 3rd shift Machine Operator in Freeport, IL to set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and NC machines to fabricate and assemble metal and nonmetal parts. Wage range: $20.34-$22.50 per hour with a 7% shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Basic math and measurement skills for units, fractions, decimals.
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions and diagrams.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle unit assembly and sub-assembly workstations.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow standard work procedures, control plans, processes, and quality guidelines.
• Assemble parts into complete assemblies with correct dimensions.
