Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to support the printing and die-cutting process. This role reports to the Converting Supervisor and offers hourly pay in the $22.95–$25.50 range with potential for cross-training on related equipment.

The incumbent will assist in setup, operation, cleanup, and drive improvements in efficiency and safety. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for corrugated industry experience.

Qualifications

• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Adherence to quality standards and production specifications.
• Operating machinery and cross-training on other machines.

Responsibilities

• Set-up die cutters and run machines per setup techniques.
• Inspect dies and anilox rolls; ensure proper repairs before the next run.
• Monitor box quality and maximize equipment utilization.
• Complete timely production, safety, and quality reports.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest optimizations.
• Cross-train on other machines and report maintenance needs.
