Job summary

H.B. Fuller is hiring a Small Machine Operator for Michigan Center, MI, 3rd shift. The role involves preparing materials, operating production equipment, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Overtime and weekend availability are required with a clear pay progression. Salary starts at $19.45 per hour with a $0.75 shift differential; increases are planned after each of the first three years. The company offers a competitive rewards package including health benefits, 401K, paid time

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• No previous manufacturing experience required.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and packaging by identifying and staging the correct materials and quantities for production.
• Transport raw materials and packaging to the appropriate production areas and report any deviations or discrepancies.
• Accurately document the start and completion of production processes as required.
• Operate processing and production equipment in accordance with established work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Monitor equipment and production processes to maintain desired operating and production rates.
• Perform initial product testing and release activities to ensure products meet established specifications and quality requirements.
• Verify labels and packaging materials for accuracy and ensure products are labeled in accordance with established procedures.
• Package finished products according to work instructions and H.B. Fuller quality standards.
