POSITION SUMMARY

This position involves the safe operation of process machinery in the production of Molybdenum bar products. The role includes cross-training on saws and lathes to ensure versatility within the team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate machines within the Metals department, with the ability to work across multiple work centers after training, including but not limited to:

• Saws (end trim, order preparation)
• Grinders (large and small, including centerless grinders)
• Lathes (manual mills and lathes)

Set up equipment and ensure it meets production requirements.

Follow instructions as recorded on production orders or communicated by supervisors.

Maintain accurate identification of materials throughout production stages.

Record production data accurately in Global Shop.

Weigh, measure, and monitor materials to fulfill process requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent (not required but preferred).
• Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
• Ability to use measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers, or willingness to learn.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and adapt to production changes.
