Job summary

Stratasys is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician II for the 3rd shift in Eden Prairie, MN. You will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and implement repairs to minimize downtime on production lines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4+ years in electrical or mechanical trade.
• 4+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Experience as Machine Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to identify issues before they escalate.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions using systematic approaches to find root causes.
• Perform repairs and replace defective parts with hand and power tools.
• Collaborate with production to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Participate in equipment upgrades and modifications as needed.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
• Generate reports on machine performance and issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and compliance guidelines.
