Job Description

Sign on Bonus: $1,000.00 paid across first 90 days: $250 after 30 days, $250 after 60 days, $500.00 after 90 days. To ensure that all guest and associate situations are resolved in a timely manner, and to ensure the safety and security of all guests and associates. Ensure the routines and tasks of each shift are properly completed in accordance with Omni standards.

Responsibilities
  • Responds immediately to emergency incidents and Security requests.
  • Monitors appropriate compliance levels of all Omni Hotels Life safety Programs, training and SOP directives. Reports identified deficiencies to the Director of Loss Prevention.
  • Ensures the safety of our guests, associates, and hotel property at all times.
  • Is courteous, tactful, and helpful, but firm in enforcing hotel policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that all Security personnel functions are being properly completed.
  • Ensures that shift personnel are properly assigned.
  • Drives communication within the LP Department of all daily events, directives, hotel incidents & shift change briefings.
  • Reviews all reports completed by Security officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Maintains a good relationship with all departments within the hotel and ensures that efficient service is available at all times.
  • Reports all observed hotel property deficiencies and safety hazards.
  • Ensures that a thorough and complete investigation and report is made on incidents, (e.g., losses, thefts, and accidents) incurred by guests and associates.
  • Responsible for coordinating guest room surveillance in conjunction with the Director of Loss Prevention.
  • Ensures that all phases of the key control program are maintained and any discrepancies noted are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Director of Loss Prevention.
  • Ensures that all Security equipment is kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Monitors all traffic in the lobby area and restaurant, restrooms, parking area, and room service area to control non-guest access.
  • Reports all associates using unauthorized Hotel entrance/exits when reporting for work or leaving for the day to the Director of Loss Prevention.
  • Checks cashier vault at normal intervals.
  • Periodically inspects exterior of building.
  • Maintains a continual line of communication with the Director of Loss Prevention.
  • Understands all emergency procedures.
  • Understands all radio codes.
Qualifications
  • Requires a minimum of one year previous professional Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience, or current state certification as Private Security Officer.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience in Loss Prevention in an upscale hospitality establishment preferred.
  • Must acquire CPR, basic first aid, and AED certification within 90 days of hire / placement.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be 21 and up with valid Driver's License.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
