Job summary

HES is seeking a Lead Floor Tech Supervisor for the 3rd shift (9pm-6am) in Boca Raton, FL. The role focuses on cleaning, floor care, and supervisory duties to ensure facility cleanliness in educational environments.

Responsibilities include operating heavy floor equipment, supervising floor techs, and maintaining safety standards. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior janitorial experience and reliable transportation required.

• Operate and maintain floor cleaning/finishing equipment; inspect tools for quality.
• Examine floor care chemicals and ensure correct dilution ratios.
• Move furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors; clean or shampoo carpets.
• Perform light window and wall cleaning; trash removal.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; perform other duties as required by supervisor.

LEAD Floor Tech SUPERVISOR 3rd shift (9pm-6am) Monday-Friday

Floor Techs / Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. Floor Techs / Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Performs the following duties: carpet cleaning (bonnet and extraction), scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing had surface floors.
• Must be able to operate high and low speed buffers up to 24 inch and 3000 RPM propane burnishing equipment.
• Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility.
• Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Inspect & examine the equipment & attachment tools to ensure quality.
• Examine floor care chemicals and their use, ensuring correct dilution ratios are being followed.
• Lifting or moving furniture, supplies, and/or equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean or shampoo carpets.
• Perform light window and wall cleaning duties.
• Trash removal.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
• Maintain equipment and supplies. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education : High school degree preferred but not required.
