Job summary

General Dynamics – Bath Iron Works seeks a 3rd shift Manager – Land Level to lead land level construction operations in Bath, ME. You will drive safety, manage production plans, and coordinate with trades and support groups to meet schedule and cost objectives.

You will oversee area supervision, track performance, ensure material control, and push continuous improvement through standardized work and operating system alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, construction management, engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety policies and training; promote housekeeping and personal safety.
• Manage area plans and weekly execution to meet guidelines.
• Direct trade performance to meet schedule and cost objectives.
• Coordinate with support functions to align construction priorities.
• Lead Area Supervisors and teams using A3 problem solving; review performance and take corrective actions.
• Support area performance reviews and OPIP maintenance.
