Belcan Corporation in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Lab Technician for the 3rd shift (1:00 AM–10:00 AM, Mon–Fri) with a pay rate of $21.25/hr and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will prepare buffers and reagents, support seed health tests and grow-out assays, inspect and maintain lab equipment, and follow ISO Quality Management Standards with proper PPE and safety practices.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field and 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare buffers and reagents, maintain indicator plants and conduct grow-out assays, inspect, operate, and maintain equipment, assist with seed health tests, follow and maintain the ISO Quality Management Standards wear proper PPE and take proper safety precautions while working in the lab.
