Job summary

A logistics company is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory levels in Champaign, Illinois. This role involves conducting regular audits, tracking product movement, and managing inventory discrepancies. Candidates must have a high school diploma, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and forklift certification. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail; can spot missing items from a mile away.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; experience with AS400/Korber/Blue Yonder or similar WMS preferred.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues.
• Forklift certified; experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift.
• Reliable and dependable; the team and operations count on you.

Responsibilities

• Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for aisle, inbound, and outbound inventory.
• Track and update product movement, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate recurring inventory issues, determine root cause, and help prevent future discrepancies.
• Manage inventory at varying status levels (on-hand, on-order, damaged).
• Operate a Stand-Up Forklift to assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
• Collaborate with customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.

Pay: $20.02 per hour + $0.75 per hour shift differential
Schedule: Monday‑Friday 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Off days – Saturday and Sunday)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for aisle, inbound, and outbound inventory.
• Track and update product movement, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate recurring inventory issues, determine root cause, and help prevent future discrepancies.
• Manage inventory at varying status levels (on‑hand, on‑order, damaged) ensuring proper handling for each.
• Operate a Stand‑Up Forklift to assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and other warehouse tasks.
• Collaborate with customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
• Tackle other duties within training and expertise.
