Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking an Inventory Clerk to organize, count, and maintain accurate inventory across multiple locations. The role emphasizes cycle counts, stock accuracy, and collaboration with Receiving and Sales teams.

You will operate a Sit-Down Forklift, use AS400/WMS, and excel in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is required; benefits include health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Attention to detail: detect missing items and discrepancies accurately.
• Tech skills: proficient with Microsoft Office; AS400 and WMS experience preferred.
• Problem-solving: troubleshoot and resolve inventory issues effectively.
• Forklift experience: Stand-Up forklift operation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Master of Organization: organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
• Cycle Count Expert: conduct cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for inventory.
• Inventory Whisperer: track and update product movement and correct discrepancies.
• Root Cause Detective: investigate recurring issues to prevent future discrepancies.
• Status Savvy: manage inventory at varying status levels (on-hand, on-order, damaged).
• Forklift Pro: operate a Sit-Down Forklift to assist with counts and stock organization.
• Collaborative Communicator: work with customers, Receiving, and Sales teams to resolve discrepancies.

Pay Range and Schedule

• Pay Range: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm

What You’ll Do:

• Master of Organization: Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring everything is in its rightful place.
• Cycle Count Expert: Conducted regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for aisle, inbound, and outbound inventory, maintaining precise stock levels.
• Inventory Whisperer: Track and update product movement, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy at all times.
• Root Cause Detective: Investigate recurring inventory issues and work to determine the root cause, helping prevent future discrepancies.
• Status Savvy: Properly manage inventory at varying status levels (e.g., on-hand, on-order, damaged) and ensure proper handling for each.
• Forklift Pro: Operate a Sit-Down Forklift to assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Collaborative Communicator: Work alongside customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Attention to Detail: You can spot a missing item from a mile away and have the patience to handle even the most minor discrepancies.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Previous experience with AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You possess critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues effectively.
• Forklift Certified: You have experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift.
• Tackle additional tasks as they come up—if you’ve got the skills, we’ve got the challenge!
