Job summary

Bolthouse Farms is seeking an Instrumentation Technician for Bakersfield, CA. The role involves testing, calibrating, installing, repairing and inspecting monitoring and recording devices, with duties spanning preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to reduce downtime.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of calibration protocols, and proficiency with 4-20 mA and 0-10 VDC systems, plus strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field or 4+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of database software, intranet and internet software, WMS
• Experience in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word and Access
• Proven, reliable work history

Responsibilities

• Test, calibrate, install, repair and inspect monitoring and recording devices.
• Perform trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance and rebuilds on equipment.
• Protect the integrity and operation of devices and communicate shift activities to supervision.
• Pursue preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime as part of continuous improvement.
• Open/close and complete work orders for repairs.
• Install, maintain, repair, calibrate and test instrumentation for level, flow, pressure, temperature, etc.
