Job summary

SARSTEDT is seeking an Injection Molding Technician for the 3rd shift in Newton, NC. You will set up molds, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product quality and safety align with the production schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Previous injection molding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds and perform color and order changes.
• Perform complete mold changes and set-ups of all molding machinery.
• Prepare release paperwork including measuring of the product and start-up.
• Responsible for first line visual and dimensional inspection of the product.
• Perform line clearance before starting a new order.
• Troubleshoot product defects, part containment, and other issues during production.
• Keep machine cards, orders, mold change reports, and process change sheets updated.
• Follow safety regulations and report unsafe conditions immediately.
