Job summary

Rockline Industries in Sheboygan seeks a Maintenance Technician to coordinate machine repair and enhancement projects and support systems to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. Responsibilities include fabricating equipment, training associates, and driving continuous process improvements.

A paid apprenticeship opportunity and advanced schooling through LTC are available. The role offers a 3rd shift with a starting base of $28/hour + $2 shift premium, and growth opportunities through

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Journeyman card or 10+ years maintenance experience preferred.
• Candidate may enroll in a trade apprenticeship.
• Working knowledge of TPM, preventative/predictive maintenance, operator basic care, and equipment efficiency metrics.
• Electrical, mechanical, machine rigging, light fabrication, power transmission, bearings, lubrication.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, verbal, written, analytical, mathematical, reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with PCs including Microsoft Office; PC/PLC control systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of paper/nonwovens converting, slitting, winding, filling, packaging, sealing, conveying and related equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to operations equipment in a timely manner through root cause analysis.
• Complete machine enhancement projects.
• Collaborate with process improvement engineers to drive standardized work and increase throughput.
• Utilize maintenance software to track progress and materials.
• Work with Process Support Group to document major issues and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and process-related deficiencies.
• Demonstrate commitment to Rockline’s RRITE values.
