Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, PA is seeking a maintenance technician for a 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10pm-6am). You will maintain fluid levels, inspect machinery, perform preventive maintenance and support EH&S guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship required to access information.
• General mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid power systems; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fluid levels and monitor inventory; operate forklifts and lifts; perform pre-operational inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene; manage waste per EHS guidelines; label and document accordingly.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled cleaning and preventives on production equipment; document defects and repairs.
• Report defects and malfunctions to supervisor; perform basic electrical/mechanical diagnostics as scheduled.
• Adhere to EH&S guidelines and wear PPE; participate in additional tasks to support department objectives.
