Job summary

Altium Packaging in Franklin, MA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to repair and maintain production machinery, blow mold equipment, and related systems. You will follow GMP practices and work overtime as needed to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing blow mold equipment, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting hoses and pumps, and collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include basic math and computer skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
• 2+ years maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace hoses, valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair blow mold, baggers and support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
• Duties may vary by plant design and task.
