Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is hiring Maintenance Generalists for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM–7:30 AM) with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime while collaborating with plant personnel. Applicants should have at least 2 years of mechanic experience or completed an industrial maintenance training program, be willing to work overtime/weekends, and bring their own

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanic work experience or graduate of industrial maintenance training program.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, manuals and work orders.
• Basic math and computer skills for logging information and daily work orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Interact with plant personnel to achieve goals and maintain safety.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed and furnish own tools.
