Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in High Point, NC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift to keep production equipment and facilities running smoothly. Onsite work, full-time employment, and a competitive pay rate up to $44.75 per hour are offered.

You will analyze test results, perform preventive maintenance, repair or replace faulty components, read blueprints, install wiring and piping, and ensure safe, efficient operation of machines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Experience in an industrial maintenance environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose problems using test results and operators' input.
• Repair or replace defective components with hand and power tools.
• Inspect motors, drives, belts, and fluid levels; test operations after repairs.
• Install wiring, piping, and related components; ensure safe operation.
