Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a high-volume manufacturing plant in New Bedford, MA. You will bridge operations, facilities engineering, and maintenance to minimize downtime, elevate equipment performance, and mentor technicians while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires experience in hydraulics, PLCs, robotics, and a proactive leadership style to sustain reliability across production lines. Travel is occasional.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years of maintenance leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise and train maintenance technicians to maintai n high safety standards.
Oversee preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on presses, hydraulics, PLCs, and automation.
Manage spare parts inventory, budgets, and cost benchmarks.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities on equipment upgrades and line modifications.
Drive Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement to improve OEE and reduce downtime.
Enforce EHS compliance and housekeeping across maintenance zones.
