Job summary

Crown CAPP is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems for production equipment and building utilities within a high-speed metal packaging facility.

Hourly position on 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:30am) with a starting rate of $40.98 per hour. Candidates should have 5+ years in manufacturing, strong electrical/PLC knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in maintenance/industrial electrician in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Electrical, electronic, pneumatic & mechanical knowledge.
• Troubleshooting AC/DC control circuits 120/240 VAC and 440 VAC.
• Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot VFDs and AB PowerFlex 40/525, Control Techniques.
• Ladder logic AB RS Logix 5, 500, 5000.
• Comply with OSHA and safety regulations including Lock Out/Tag Out and Arc Flash.
• Read manuals, prints and electrical schematics.
• Good communication and basic computer skills.
• Planning and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Develop related preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot circuits and repair/modify electrical components.
• Follow Lockout Tagout procedures.
• Adhere to NFPA70E, Arc Flash safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
