Job summary

CARAVAN FACILITIES MANAGEMENT LLC in Fort Wayne/Roanoke, IN is seeking an Industrial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness across plant areas, docks, washrooms, and offices. You will operate industrial cleaning equipment and assist with outdoor duties as needed.

This full-time, on-site position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work with limited outside exposure. The role includes 3rd shift hours and a schedule Sunday through Thursday, 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education; up to one month related experience or training.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean all plant areas including shop floor, warehouse, docks, washrooms, offices, break rooms, meeting areas, cafeteria and locker rooms.
• Restock washrooms, break rooms and cafeterias.
• Clean spills and remove garbage.
• Limited outside trash pickup; light salt and snow removal near doorways and minor outdoor duties.
• Operate industrial trucks such as sweeper scrubbers, tote vehicles, burden carriers and forklifts.
• Perform special cleaning projects as required by the customer or company.
