Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to provide repair and maintenance of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning systems for on-site facilities in Annapolis Junction, MD. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years HVAC service and maintenance experience.
• HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent required.
• Universal CFC certification required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination within 6 months.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, chillers, HVAC, pneumatics, steam, condensate systems.
• Familiarity with Building HVAC codes.
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain clearance.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical, electrical and electronic components across facilities.
• Diagnose and correct problems by adjusting controls and testing performance.
• Operate and service commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Read blueprints and install equipment per specs.
• Respond to emergency site maintenance.
