Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a 3rd shift Operations Manager for the CVG Hub in Erlanger, Kentucky. You will lead the safe and efficient handling of express cargo, ensuring compliance with customer and internal requirements.

The role requires 4 years in logistics and 2+ years of supervisory experience, with strong MS Word/Excel skills and excellent communication. Willingness to work a flexible schedule is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• BS/BA degree preferred.
• Advanced MS Word and Excel skills.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Flexibility with work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manages hub operational activities to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective processing of air express cargo.
• Implements and directs quality control program for all operational areas.
• Establishes, monitors, and revises policies, procedures, and service standards for hub operations.
• Directs compliance with DHL corporate, hub, gateway and airline policies and regulations.
• Maintains records for all hub warehouse operations including volume, damages, safety incidents, productivity.
• Communicates with systems operations, load control, facilities maintenance, sort, ramp, gateway, and US Customs.
• Oversees loading and unloading of ULDs and the handling of non-conforming/dangerous goods.
• Manages 2-5 subordinates; hiring, coaching, training, and developing staff.
