Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize breakrooms, including tables, countertops, sinks, microwaves, refrigerators, and trash receptacles.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms by replenishing supplies, sanitizing fixtures, mopping floors, and removing waste.
• Operate floor scrubber and other floor care equipment to clean and maintain facility flooring.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Monitor and restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervision.

Position Title: Housekeeping Technician

Wage: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 10:00pm-6:30am (Sun-Thurs)

Housekeeping Technician Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize breakrooms, including tables, countertops, sinks, microwaves, refrigerators, and trash receptacles.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms by replenishing supplies, sanitizing fixtures, mopping floors, and removing waste.
• Operate floor scrubber and other floor care equipment to clean and maintain facility flooring.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Monitor and restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervision.
• Follow all company safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
• Support scheduled deep cleaning projects in production areas, offices, hallways, and common spaces.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in clean and proper working conditions.

Housekeeping Technician Requirements

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers or similar cleaning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety and cleaning chemical usage.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and reach while performing cleaning duties.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to push and pull cleaning carts, trash bins, and floor scrubber equipment throughout the facility.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and work with approved cleaning chemicals daily.
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and cleaning odors.
