bioMérieux Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 to operate high-speed equipment used in the production and packaging of BacT/ALERT bottles in a strict cGMP environment.

The role includes completing batch paperwork, adhering to SOPs, and assisting with quality investigations and process improvements. This position works the third shift (Mon–Fri, 11 pm–7:30 am) and requires attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to work safely with PPE while

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a regulated production/operations environment or equivalent military experience.
• Experience operating high-speed, automated production equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (LOTO, electrical safety) preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA and/or GMP regulations preferred.
• Mechanical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment using HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Execute production activities per approved Manufacturing Directions and SOPs.
• Ensure batch paperwork is accurate, thorough, and timely.
• Record processes and data; maintain regulatory compliance.
• Assist with reviewing and revising Manufacturing Directions and SOPs.
• Assist with deviation analysis, CAPA actions, and quality concerns.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to meet cGMP standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment and document data in required systems.
• Train and certify teammates on production processes.
• Generate reports and KPI data; aid in decision making.
• Assist with validation protocols for manufacturing/packaging equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
