Job summary

bioMérieux in Durham, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 to operate high-speed, automated manufacturing equipment for BacT/ALERT bottles in a cGMP environment. You will follow approved directions, complete batch paperwork, and help ensure quality and compliance across production lines.

You will engage in training, document processes, support deviation analyses, and contribute to continuous improvement with SOPs and QA measures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Certification in a Bioworks Program or equivalent is preferred.
• BioWorks, LEAN or other Continuous Improvement Certificate preferred.
• Work experience accepted in lieu of a degree: No.

Responsibilities

• Operate high speed, highly automated manufacturing equipment using HMI/SCADA.
• Execute production activities per approved Manufacturing Directions while following SOPs.
• Ensure batch paperwork is accurate, thorough and timely.
• Assist with deviation analysis and CAPA actions and other QA concerns.
• Train teammates on production processes and procedures.
• Generate reports, charts and KPIs and interpret data to identify problems.
