Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring a Bilingual Sanitation Technician in Kodak, TN to clean and sanitize plants and production areas at the end of each shift in alignment with quality-control standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize plants and production areas at shift end according to QC standards.
• Follow GMPs, PPE, safety policies and Lockout/Tagout protocols.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle sanitation chemicals safely.
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Lift, push and pull sanitation equipment; work in cold and wet environments.
• Follow instructions and company policies; work both independently and with others.

Details for Bilingual Sanitation Technician positions

• Clean and sanitize both plants and production areas at the end of each shift in accordance with quality-control standards
• Follow standard sanitation procedures, GMPs, PPE requirements, safety policies, and Lockout/Tagout protocols
• Safely handle sanitation chemicals and operate cleaning equipment, including floor cleaners, drain-cleaning equipment, and palletizer cleaning tools
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble industrial mixing and packaging equipment
• Clean mixing platforms, tank farm areas, trash receptacles, and other assigned production equipment
• Lift, push, and pull sanitation equipment as needed
• Work safely in wet, hot, cold, refrigerated, and unconditioned environments
• Follow verbal and written instructions, safety guidelines, material-handling procedures, and company policies
• Complete any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Previous sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred but not required
• Ability to work around airborne particles, pressurized water, cleaning products, moving machinery, vibration, and loud noise
• Ability to work in cold environments around 48°F and occasionally hot conditions
• Required use of earplugs, hard hat, slip-resistant shoes, and other applicable personal protective equipment
• Ability to work safely on wet or slick floors and follow all workplace safety procedures
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Stoop, squat, bend, kneel, twist, and reach as needed
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced, cold environment
• Comfortable working at elevated heights (approx. 8 feet) on narrow walkways
• Analyze and proactively resolve work-related issues
• Collaborate with others while also working independently
