Job summary

Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Production Operator for the 3rd shift. You will set up plant equipment, follow SOPs and cGMP guidelines, and organize daily production to meet schedules while maintaining product quality.

You will operate and clean manufacturing equipment, document activities, and participate in training of new staff. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a fast-paced, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with strong math and mechanical skills.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, dietary supplement or food industry preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all staff levels.

Responsibilities

• Set up plant equipment according to daily production schedules and SOPs.
• Follow batch records, inventory sheets and log books for production/packaging.
• Operate and adjust equipment to maintain peak efficiency and quality.
• Transport raw materials and lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques.
• Document activities and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Train new employees on equipment operation, GMPs and safety as needed.
