Job summary

Steele Solutions Inc. in Waupaca, Wisconsin is seeking a General Laborer for the 3rd shift.

You will identify, assemble, pack, sort, paint, grind and separate parts by hand under supervision, following company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include loading and unloading parts from the paint line, performing quality checks, prepping finished pieces for shipping, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift operation and overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Ability to read rulers and measuring tapes.
• Basic reading and writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts to and from the paint line.
• Check parts off the paint line and prep for shipping.
• Examine work and perform daily quality checks.
• Pack material to meet quality standards.
• Operate forklift if certified and move parts around the plant.
• Assist on the assembly line as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete required paperwork (paper and electronic).
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.
