Abrasive Technology, Ltd. is seeking a Furnace Plater Trainee for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:30am) in Lewis Center, OH. You will learn plating for diamond/CBN parts and operate furnaces while ensuring process quality.

No prior electroplating experience is required; training is provided. The role offers $19.00 per hour plus a $3.00 shift differential, 80 hours holiday pay, generous PTO, and quarterly bonuses.

Competenze

• No prior electroplating experience required; training provided.
• Experience in manufacturing or metal finishing is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Mansioni

• Prepare and load components for furnace plating per instructions.
• Operate furnaces used in metallization, brazing, or nickel plating.
• Monitor temperature, atmosphere, ramp rates, and soak times.
• Maintain materials and consumables with proper traceability.
• Document process data and deviations per ISO/GMP standards.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and calibration checks.
• Support validation activities and assist in parameter qualification.
• Follow cleanroom protocols and safety policies.
