Job summary

PaperTech in Findlay, OH is seeking a Forming Machine Operator to run automated forming machines for pressed paperboard trays on the 3rd shift. Duties include producing units per prints, measuring parts, maintaining equipment, and keeping a clean, safe work area.

The shift offers a $1.00 per hour differential, a temperature-controlled facility, and benefits such as medical, dental, and life insurance, PTO after 60 days, attendance program, 401K, paid breaks, 10 holidays, and tuition

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to multi-task and report consistently to work.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Able to work prolonged periods on your feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail bending and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Operate forming machines per prints and specifications.
• Produce the required quantity within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Working on a PC to enter production information.
• Be capable of acting as a floater as needed by supervision.
• Remove completed pallets from the end of multiple production lines via pallet jack.
• Re-stock Corrugated, Pallets, Bags, and any other necessary supplies at multiple production lines.
• Refill cleaning bottles and sanitary supplies at multiple production lines as needed.
• Communicate with Utility regarding any items needed to stock production lines.
• Help with loading machines as spare time allows.
• Help make boxes for lines that the supervisor recommends.
