Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check prior to employment.
• Ability to work safely, follow safety procedures and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Check with Supervisor or Clerk for job orders.
• Inspect powered industrial truck at shift start and report issues.
• Lockout / tag out unsafe or inoperable equipment.
• Load, unload and store product in proper bays, neatly stacked.
• Verify counts and adjust paperwork; initial changes.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are damage-free and reported.
• Sign and date paperwork after completing load.
• Input information with scanner; document all functions.
• Ship correct number of pieces per load worksheet.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Change propane tanks and batteries as needed.
• Answer phones and take accurate messages.
• Operate copy and fax machines; use radio equipment properly.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping; comply with OSHA safety rules.
• Perform miscellaneous duties; report any forklift incidents.
