Job summary

Carpenter Co. has immediate openings for a Warehouse Operator in our Fabrication Department on 3rd shift at our Longview, NC manufacturing plant.

This position operates machinery that cuts and packages foam bedding products and communicates with the department manager and lead person for direction of material needing to be cut. The successful candidate will be efficient in operating several pieces of equipment, read work orders, and maintain a high output in a busy team environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery that cuts and packages foam bedding products.
• Read orders and determine cut sizes.
• Maintain steady throughput in a high-volume department.
• Work with team and supervisor for material direction.
• Verify machine operations and output accuracy.
