Job summary

HES Facilities in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a 3rd Shift Floor Tech to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across the facility, including carpet cleaning, scrubbing, waxing, and general upkeep. The role requires physical stamina, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently during nighttime hours.

The ideal candidate has prior floor or janitorial experience, reads and follows safety guidelines, and can collaborate with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred but not required.
• Prior floor, hard surface, carpet cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Have a reliable vehicle and able to read, write, and comprehend at a basic level.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties to maintain daily upkeep and facility cleanliness.
• Operate floor machines (buffers, scrubbers) and related equipment as required.
• Follow safety precautions and ensure proper chemical dilution.
• Lift/move furniture and supplies; trash removal; basic window/wall cleaning.
• Maintain equipment and report needs to supervisor.
