Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. in Charleston, WV is hiring for a 3rd shift General Cleaner / Floor Technician. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM in a manufacturing facility, performing floor cleaning, carpet steam-cleaning, waxing and sealing, trash removal, restroom upkeep and basic maintenance tasks.

Must be reliable and safety-conscious. Qualifications include stamina, ability to follow directions, professional conduct, and reliable transportation. Questions?

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces
• Steam-clean carpets
• Strip the floor using the proper machinery
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff
• Apply sealant to floors
• Gather and empty trash
• Supply, clean and service restrooms
• Mix various cleaning agents according to specifications
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Possible floor work applicable (steam clean carpets, apply wax, buff, etc)
• Other duties as assigned
