Avery Dennison Corporation is hiring a Press Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) to operate and set up flexographic presses, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot production issues. You will work with a team to meet tight tolerances and ensure safe, efficient operation in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of press operation experience, with strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with production software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of printing press operation experience.
• Experience operating flexographic machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
• Basic math calculations and ability to learn production reporting software.
• Ability to read shop scales and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setup: Prepare cylinders, mount plates, adjust ink fountains/rollers, load supply rolls, and set up for precise production runs.
• Deliver High-Quality Work: Interpret specifications, monitor tolerances with gauges, and inspect tools to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Investigate equipment abnormalities to identify root causes and perform preventive maintenance.
• Collaboration & Safety: Follow SOPs and work instructions; collaborate across teams to meet site goals.
• Data Entry: Use basic computer literacy to report finished production and complete related documentation.
