Job summary

High Transit in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Fleet Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of road, industrial, and construction equipment. You will perform inspections, welding, and repairs on tractors, trailers, cranes, and forklifts, with a focus on safety and reliability.

This role operates on the 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with opportunities for overtime. A 25% shift differential is offered for third-shift coworkers.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Experience repairing heavy equipment (tractors, trailers, cranes, forklifts).
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain required inspections licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform local, state, and federal inspections on equipment.
• Repair tractors, trailers, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Brake reconditioning, suspension repairs, and component replacements.
• Repair tractor electronics and weld as needed.
• May perform occasional road service.
• Work outdoors when required.
