Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is hiring a detail-oriented Finishing Operator to join our East Troy, WI facility on the 3rd shift. You will operate finishing equipment and help prepare material for storage or shipment, with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Must be able to demonstrate strong general mechanical skills.
• Must be trainable and able to demonstrate acceptable levels of comprehension in inspection processes.
• Needs to be able to use measuring equipment, including micrometers and tape measures.

Location: East Troy, WIWage: $20.05/hrHours: 3rd 11pm – 7am Mon-Fri Responsibilities:This mill position is expected to achieve targeted results in safety, production output and product quality. The Technician will operate various pieces of equipment and will perform a variety of duties to prepare material for storage or shipment.

• Must be able to demonstrate strong general mechanical skills. Must be trainable and be able to demonstrate acceptable levels of comprehension in the inspection processes. Needs to be able to use measuring equipment, including micrometers and tape measures.
• Set up and operate finishing equipment including but not limited to straightener, saw, and furnace. Blow plugs, rand bright, and swirl.
• Use measuring equipment, including micrometers and tape measures
• Perform pickle and passivate operations
• Evaluate and assist in solving problems associated with quality
• Any and all other duties as assigned
