Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Huron, OH is seeking a Production Associate – Filler/Strainer for the 3rd shift (11 pm–7 am). Starting pay is $20.16 hourly plus a $1 shift differential. You will operate filling equipment, perform quality checks, and help improve line efficiency.

Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, read English instructions, and wear appropriate PPE. Opportunity for teamwork and growth in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read, understand, and follow instructions and operating procedures in English.
• Able to wear all required PPE (hard hat, steel/composite-toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules and standard practices.
• Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and interact with filling equipment.
• Perform quality inspections and checks (verify fill volumes, labeling, coding).
• Communicate issues to management or maintenance personnel.
• Lift cases or pails onto filling line conveyors.
• Operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) to supply or remove materials or finished products.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support line efficiency improvements.
