Job summary

Textron Aviation, a global leader in private aviation, seeks a Facility Technician A for the 3rd shift in Wichita, KS. The role covers multi-skill diagnostics and repair of manufacturing and delivery equipment.

Requires 3–5 years in a maintenance skilled trade with an additional trade, plus a high school diploma and formal technical training in electrical/electronics; proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and infrared scanners is expected. Kansas tax credit may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus formal technical training in electrical/electronics.
• 3–5 years in a maintenance skilled trade related to the assignment, plus 2 years in an additional applicable trade or skill set.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnostic and repair service for manufacturing and delivery processes and equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance on electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical equipment and production systems.
• Uses electrical/electronic diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and infrared scanners and other required equipment.
• Coordinates and/or performs assigned work and collaborates with contractors and other maintenance personnel to ensure proper repairs with minimal operations impact.
• Maintains open communications with supervision and customer departments; documents activities with MMCS tools and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.
